At Restoration Counseling Center our desire is to provide each client the opportunity to find HOPE. Hope for understanding, healing and growth. Hope for freedom, joy, and peace. Hope for wholeness and real, true rest. The truth is, life is hard. We find ourselves confused, disillusioned, disappointed, angry, sad, afraid, addicted or simply numb to it all. The process of counseling can and does often lead a person to a place of new found hope, where we can experience the broken parts of our stories and relationships RESTORED. Affording us the opportunity to live life as it is intended.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10 ESV

Specializations:
I was led to the field of counseling through my own life experiences. My experience in counseling was profound and life changing in many ways and birthed in me a desire to offer the same kind of care, healing and hope to others. I believe we are meant to need others and need outside eyes to help us see what we don’t. Wise, kind guides are crucial on our path to growth. I consider it an immense honor to walk alongside others in this capacity and consider each session a privilege as I am invited into the very tender places in a person‘s story and struggle.
As a christIan, I believe the Gospel is foundational to how we see ourselves, our relationships and how we see the world. This is the core belief from which I operate. Also, there is so much helpful knowledge and tools available to us in the areas of science and psychology. My approach is integrated, using the best that science and psychotherapy have to offer interwoven through a biblical framework. Although these are my personal convictions, I respect that others may be coming from a different place. I think it is crucial to meet each client where they desire to be met and I am comfortable tailoring my work with clients accordingly.
Please reach us at if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I am considered an out-of-network provider for most insurance panels. While I do not process insurance in my office, I can give you a diagnostic receipt (Superbill) to use to file with your insurance company. That would mean upfront payment to me for each session, then submitting the diagnostic receipt to your insurance company. You would then receive from them the reimbursement according to the out-of-network coverage per your insurance plan. The majority of my clients have found this process works affectively in greatly assisting in the financial investment of counseling.
Payment is due at the beginning of each session. I take credit card (includes a 3.5% processing fee) or Zelle, Venmo, PayPal or Apple Pay.
I provide counseling services for individuals of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.
I am currently offering my counseling services in person in Jacksonville, Fl. and via Telehealth through a HIPPA compliant video conferencing format.
I ask that you give me 24 hours notice in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so will require payment for the full session fee.
Each session is 50 minutes. Double sessions (1 hour and 40 minutes) are available upon request.
